Landmark Builders is looking to hire a full-time Business Development Manager to join its business development team in the Charlotte, NC office.

Landmark Builders offers general construction, design/build, construction management, and upfit/renovation services throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. Our primary markets include industrial, distribution, office, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective construction and investment opportunities in the Charlotte metro market.
- Maintain visibility in the community where new opportunities could exist.
- Take a leadership role in or participate in relevant committees, boards, and groups in the region to grow the company’s reputation as a trusted partner including:
- CRE community
- Commercial/industrial developers
- Business groups/chambers of commerce
- Local Civic organizations
- Government partners (planners, permitting, municipal infrastructure)
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key Landmark customers, both end users and developers.
- Champion initiatives that foster trust and collaboration between clients, government entities, and industry partners to ensure project success and lasting partnerships.
- Maintain strong knowledge of major pending developments in the region and leverage Landmark where applicable.
- Act as a general market resource to both new and existing Landmark customers.
- Be a trusted advisor, ensuring internal and external partners’ needs are met with professionalism and care.
- Provide content to marketing department and engage with RFP/proposal development when necessary.
Qualifications
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain trust-based, long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders. Highly personable with excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Prior experience in the commercial construction industry is not required, but candidates must excel at developing rapport, fostering collaboration, and delivering value in professional networks.
- Has established strong relationships with leaders in the Charlotte business community.
- Track record of success in revenue generation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Takes initiative and is self-directed.
