Position Summary:
Landmark Builders is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a background in the construction industry to join our Winston-Salem team. In this role, you will work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate, timely processing of expenditures while coordinating with project and field teams on critical compliance documentation. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all expenditures are properly authorized, accurately recorded, and paid in a timely manner
  • Communicate with management and subcontract personnel as appropriate to ensure all required insurance certificates, lien waivers, joint check agreements, etc., have been received, are current and on file.
  • Support the accounting department on day-to-day projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on accounts payable
  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in construction accounting and project management software, including Sage 300, Timberscan, Excel, Outlook, Procore, and CMiC
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and problem-solve effectively
  • Dependable work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Clear and professional communication skills
